1 Package Fusilli Pasta, 350g dried
1 1/2 Cup Raw Cashews, soaked
4 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
2/3 Cup Water
Method:
Soak the cashews overnight in 3 Cups of cold water, or for 15 minutes in 3 Cups of boiling water.
Cook the fusilli as per package instructions.
Once the cashews are done soaking, drain and rinse the cashews.
Place the cashews, nutritional yeast, salt, garlic powder, lemon juice, and water, in a high powered blender, and blend until smooth.
When the fusilli is done cooking, drain the pasta and return the cooked pasta back into the pot. Do not put the pot back on the hot element.
While the pasta is still hot, stir the cashew sauce into the pasta until evenly coated.
